Keep the Feast, Dump the Yeast
The Feasts of YAHUAH aren’t “Jewish holidays”—they’re prophetic appointments that reveal YAHUSHA’s first and second coming. Learn why the remnant still keeps them and why religious “yeast” must go.
Keep the Feast, Dump the Yeast
The Feasts of YAHUAH are not “Jewish holidays.” Scripture calls them YAHUAH’s appointed times—prophetic rehearsals that point directly to YAHUSHA’s first coming and His return.
If the calendar is prophetic, then ignoring it isn’t neutral. It’s misalignment.

The Feasts Belong to YAHUAH
Most people were trained to think the Feasts are “for Jews only” or “Old Testament stuff.” Scripture says otherwise.
“These are the feasts of YAHUAH, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.”
— Vayiqra (Leviticus) 23:4
They are not “Jewish feasts.” They are YAHUAH’s appointed times—prophetic appointments.
The Spring Feasts: Fulfilled in YAHUSHA
Every Spring Feast is a prophetic picture of His first coming:
- Passover (Pesach) — YAHUSHA the Lamb offered for deliverance
- Unleavened Bread — removing leaven (sin); His sinless body in the grave
- Firstfruits — resurrection as the firstfruits of them that slept
- Shavu’oth (Pentecost) — RUACH HAQODESH poured out; Torah written on hearts
These are timestamps on YAHUAH’s redemption plan.
The Fall Feasts: Pointing to His Return
If the Spring Feasts were fulfilled in His first coming, the Fall Feasts point to His second:
- Yom Teruah — trumpet blasts; awakening; announcement of the King
- Yom Kippur — national repentance; cleansing; Israel’s future restoration
- Sukkot — YAHUAH dwelling with His people; Kingdom picture
The calendar isn’t just dates. It’s destiny.
Why Keep the Feasts Today?
- They are YAHUAH’s appointments (not denominational tradition)
- They preach YAHUSHA without a stage
- They connect us to the olive tree (Romans 11)
- They are prophetic rehearsals (mo’edim)
How to Start Keeping the Feasts Without Getting Religious
- Learn (read Vayiqra 23; study each feast in context)
- Observe with your household (simple, meaningful practices)
- Teach your children (YAHUAH’s calendar becomes normal)
- Share with others (Torah-to-Revelation gospel clarity)
Dump the Yeast: Religion vs Obedience
YAHUSHA warned about the yeast of the Pharisees—traditions that cancel YAHUAH’s Word.
“Why do ye also transgress the commandment of Elohiym by your tradition?”
— Mattithyahu (Matthew) 15:3
Yeast = man-made doctrines that puff us up and pull us off the ancient path.
If a tradition makes you ignore YAHUAH’s appointments, that tradition is yeast.
Call to the Remnant
Keep the feast. Dump the yeast.
Return to YAHUAH’s calendar. Honor YAHUSHA in the appointments He already scripted.
This is not about legalism. This is about alignment.
